There isn a “need” for Nexus only characters; but I don believe there is a “harm” in them either so long as they don take priority over the other franchises. There have in fact been calls over the last couple years for more backstory on “what” the Nexus is, where it came from, and who controls it. Blizzard is attempting to do that in tiny bite size chunks. Orphea is just the latest chunk in exploring that “multiverse” backstory that Blizzard seems to be developing for HOTS.

Your job is to farm exp for your team faster than anybody else and have your trait ready for the first obj.
